How stupid is this? This is beyond stupid. Now, I delete it, I run rf2, then stupid rf2 deletes ALL the installed packages within its own "installed" folder.

The problem: rf2 keeps all the already installed content's zipped files in steam workshop folder. I've never seen such approach in any other game. Do these devs know that we pay for our storage and its not free? WHY, WHY would I keep 22 giga of zipped stuff? Why does rf2 never think of user experience? There are probably thousands of people keeping this in their disks wondering where all their storage went who has no idea its rf2 eating away at their gigabytes. rfcmp files of rfactor, sitting hidden under workshop folder in steam. I figured there was something even worse. It is the user's responsibility to ensure that this is intentional. If it's not, I skip and move on to the next mod or asset I want.We all know the crappy "packages" folder in rf2 keeping those. Each game has a built-in feature that requires confirmation when an item is about to be deleted. download site as my main source for mods and when it says no free space I just copy the workshop items ID and paste it into the search on smods, it'll usually be on there. Smods are adding and revising mods all the time Steamworkshop.download works for anything that was downloaded on that site prior to steams crackdown I have revised loading screen mod, network anarchy, ploppable Rico, customize it, find it 2, the recently released fixed version of more landscaping tools and the paint brush tool, traffic manager and quite a few others When I initially wrote the comment you replied to, I had issues myself, some of the mods mentioned are outdated but I still managed to get their more updated altarnatives Yes, I'm on epic games and having downloaded these thru a mix of smods and steamworkshop.download I have my game running smoothly with the latest updated version of tmpe etc Prop anarchy is outdated so I use network anarchy and alternatives from the new comparability list all of which I downloaded from either sites mentioned.
