I could do some short laps in the pool and there were a few lounge chairs. There were free weights and several cardio machines. I used the fitness room and pool which were both good although small. The closet was an open space opposite the sink. The A/C unit was noisy (as in most hotels) and cycled on and off frequently to keep up with the heat. Seems wasteful since I only use a tiny amount of shampoo. The next day it was back again so I moved it.Also it was strange that each day (I was there 4 nights) they took away all of the soap and shampoo bottles so I had to open new ones. I removed the new one and put it on the floor. I couldn't pull any toilet paper because a new roll had been jammed behind it. The sink was outside the toilet/shower room which is convenient but the wide door made it convoluted to get in and out. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the TV and extra outlets were nice. My room was pretty clean except the bathtub - there was a bar of soap stuck in the drain probably from the previous guest which suggests nobody cleaned the tub. The front desk staff were all friendly and helpful. However, this Fairfield was pretty good - more like a Hampton Inn. They were low-budget, basic and didn't have the Marriott service. I've only stayed in a couple of other Fairfields and didn't like either one.
